Rebecca Griffiths
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Rebecca Griffiths (nee Tandy) was admitted to practice in early 2010, and joined Pevy Lawyers thereafter following stints at both a national law firm in Sydney and a large Gold Coast property practice. Before joining the firm, Rebecca acted for well know developers such as Meriton Group in both transactional and consultancy matters. Seeing management rights ‘from the other side’ gave her strategic insight into addressing political and commercial issues in strata title living.
During her time at Pevy Lawyers, Rebecca has grown into one of the management rights sector’s most known transactional voices, acting on hundreds of management rights dealings across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and the Northern Territory. Rebecca has also developed a special focus on off the plan management rights acquisitions, acting on some of the largest and complicated multi scheme developments over the last decade from North Queensland through to Melbourne’s Docklands.
Rebecca’s demand for precision has served her and her clients well given the unique nature of management rights agreements and the impact of regulation on day to day operations. She is at ease acting for both large scale management rights consortiums or single building operators.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of International Business, is certified as a practicing solicitor of Queensland, and admitted to both the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Rebecca is also a current member of the Queensland Law Society and regular attendee of Australian Resident Accommodation Managers’ Association functions and industry evenings.
As a long time resident, Rebecca enjoys all that the Gold Coast has to offer. Rebecca loves motherhood to her two boys, spending time with her husband and canine companions, and travelling overseas whenever the opportunity arises.
