Hannah Brown was admitted to practice in 2016, and joined Pevy Lawyers in 2017.  Prior to her arrival, Hannah practised in property and construction law at a national law firm in Brisbane, serving some of Queensland’s largest and most prolific developers and landholders. Her wide range of experience includes high volume commercial and retail leasing, planning and environment matters and general commercial property advisory work.

Hannah has a particular interest in working with small businesses and start-ups, and regularly attends events hosted by the Office of the Chief Entrepreneur, universities and local incubator and accelerator spaces.

Since commencing at Pevy Lawyers last year, Hannah has quickly developed a strong reputation amongst clients and referrers alike for her approachable and down to earth demeanour, and an ever present empathy that ensures advice is both strategic and well directed. Hannah’s caseload includes management rights transactional matters, especially with regards to administering and advising on top ups and variations of service contractor and letting arrangements. She also assists Trent in the firm’s motel and caravan park divisions, leaning on her strong understanding of leasing and leasehold businesses, and the financing of them.

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Laws, and is admitted as a practicing solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Hannah is also a current member of the Queensland Law Society and like the firm’s other management rights lawyers, is a regular attendee of Australian Resident Accommodation Managers’ Association functions and industry evenings.

Hannah enjoys bushwalking and paddle boarding, art, music, spending time with family and friends and travelling whenever possible. Hannah’s next dream trip is hiking through Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan.
